About

Working with clay is pure meditation.

I started taking pottery classes in Chicago when I was 25. I was immediately hooked. I took a long break from ceramics making and reunited with clay 12 years ago. The sky is the limit with pottery. I still feel like a beginner at times and I love that there is always more to learn!

I love to cook. I find that cooking and eating with handmade pottery makes the whole experience even more gratifying.

Teaching

For the past five years I've taught wheel throwing at The Clayroom Studio in Potrero Hill. I LOVE teaching pottery and sharing my passion for ceramics. I try to create a welcoming and fun environment in the classroom. I believe anyone can learn how to throw on the wheel, they just need a good teacher!
